Cat is the 2010 and 2011 Flanders International Rally Challenge (FIRC) Co-driver Champion, 2010 British Women Racing Drivers Club (BWRDC) Co-driver Champion and BWRDC Gold Star Award winner.

2011 was her second year competing in the Flanders International Rally Challenge alongside her fiance Andy Rowe in their Mitsubishi Evo III.

Cat and Andy are currently building another Evo III to take on more stage rallies in 2012.

WRC Monte Carlo

Recently we were invited by our friend Stefan Davis to go down to the Monte Carlo Rally to make the ice notes for him and P-WRC driver Louise Cook. We kept a behind-the-scenes blog on facebook and here is the full report.

Monte Carlo Rally - Part 1 Day 1: Monday 16 January
It's the first leg of our trip down to Valence to help Louise Cook and her co-driver Stefan Davis with their ice notes for the WRC Monte Carlo rally. It's Louise's first WRC event and our first time making ice notes so it's a steep learning curve for all of us. Louise and Stefan are out in France already and have been recceing the route. The rally starts Wednesday, and we are setting off tonight aiming for an overnight halt just south of Amiens, so we can get there at a reasonable time tomorrow to go over the notes and the route and find out what the team expect from us.

CO-DRIVER NOMINATED FOR PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

Cat Lund, the 2010 & 2011 Flanders International Rally Challenge champion co-driver, has been nominated for·the British Women Racing Driver's Club (BWRDC) GoldStar Club Award for the second year running.

Cat was the recipient of the award in 2011·thanks to her successful 2010 season co-driving in a Mitsubishi Evo 3 with Andy Rowe in the FIRC and in the UK. She was presented with the prestigious award·by F1 presenter Jake Humphrey at the 2011 Autosport show.

MULL MISERY FOR MITSUBISHI CREW

Hull driver Andy Rowe and Northamptonshire co-driver Cat Lund suffered only their 4th DNF in 23 rallies on their last event, the Mull Rally. Alternator belt failure on SS1 saw them complete the stage slowly and stop altogether in SS2. The crew managed to replace the belt with the assistance of some spectators but the time taken to do so earned a stage maximum and put them OTL.
